This tiny ceramic vase has always felt like a portrait rather than a vessel. The painted face, black hair, and delicate expression immediately reminded me of a young girl, quietly observing the world with endless curiosity. Over time, she became a reflection of my younger self: a child endlessly searching for beauty, collecting small treasures, and believing that objects could hold emotions. She now sits discreetly among the other pieces in my home, a miniature guardian of that way of looking. In many ways, she is the smallest self-portrait I have ever owned.
